Aspiring actress and model, Karen Igho from Nigeria and Zimbabwean pilot, Wendall Parson have won the 2011 edition of Africa's most popular reality TV show, Big Brother Amplified. From the tasks to fights to romance to reunions and evictions.
The finale show kicked off with Big Brother Amplified host, Ik Osakioduwa who looked sharp in his grey suit and violet tie. He then introduced his co-host, Channel O-Access VJ, Dineo Moeketsi.
Nigerian "superstar" Wizkid hit the stage in a potent leather jacket paired with skinny jeans. Wizkid connected with the audience as he hyped up the crowd with his song "Holla at Your Boy". Another young African star took the baton from Wizzy as Mo'Cheddah performed her song "Ko Ma Roll" dressed in a shiny print babydoll mini dress by Nigerian label April by Kunbi.
IK proceeded to the BBA house where he chatted with the housemate for a few minutes. After that, we were treated to clips which showed highlights from this season of Big Brother Africa – Big Brother Amplified. It was fun to go down memory lane! It was also funny that we had totally forgotten some housemates..oops!
M-Net Africa Managing Director, Biola Alabi provided insight into the decision to choose 2 winners this season and the various reasons why this season of BBA was truly AMPLIFIED. Coca-Cola Nigeria Marketing Director Austin Ufomba talked about the strategic relationhip between BBA and Coca-Cola brands – Coke & Sprite including the music, football and dance focused Sprite Triple Slam competition.
The Amplified Dance Crew rocked the stage with a dynamic performance to various rhythmic African tracks. With the female dancers in white and the male dancers in black, they did well.
Tanzania's Cpwaa performed his hit "Action" and got the ladies in the audience screaming. His backup dancers added flavour to the performance with their synchronized moves.
And after verification from the Ernst & Young representative, the real action began…
First BBA finale housemate evicted – Vina from Nigeria
Next was Hanni from Ethiopia
Then a twist – the 5 remaining housemates were order out of the house. South Africa's Professor and Speedy performed before the Top 5 housemates arrived on stage. IK interviewed the housemates and they talked about their favorite moments in house and then showed highlights of their standout moments in the house.
Next to exit was Sharon O from Uganda
Then Lomwe from Malawi
The Amplified Dance Crew performed one more time and Fally Ipupa from the DRC totally enchanted the audience with his "Sexy Dance".
The performances were entertaining but we were waiting for one thing and that was for IK to announce the WINNERS!
Finally, Ik asked Luclay to stand…he went on about Luclay's antics in the house. Then the moment of truth – SHOCKER – Luclay eliminiated.
So Karen & Wendall are the winners!
How Africa Voted
Vina received zero country votes and was evicted first. Hanni, Lomwe and Sharon O received one country vote each and were also evicted, as was Luclay who received 2 country votes. Karen, with six country votes and Wendall with four country votes have won the Amplified season.
Karen: 6 country votes – Nigeria, Angola, Rest of Africa, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania
Wendall: 4 country votes – Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Kenya
Luclay: 2 country votes – South Africa, Botswana
Lomwe: 1 country vote – Malawi
Sharon O: 1 country vote – Uganda
Hanni: 1 country vote – Ethiopia
Vina: 0 Country Votes.
What did you think about this season of Big Brother Africa. Was it amplified?
Did the winners deserve to win?

PICTURE: Nigerian Boy Invents Generator Propelled Car
Ahmed,a 15-year old boy with his generator propelled self-made car along Airport road, Abuja, some days ago. Isn`t this nice..???This really shows we`ve got lots of genius in this country.
Looking at this, I remember what I saw last week when a keke Marwa (imported from India) was uncovered. The engine is not as bogus as this.
I salute this ingenuity. For this country to excel, things like this should be encouraged and supported. However, I trust Nigeria Police, they would have been eyeing this kid for N20 by now

See ooooo This Pastor Is At It Again
Apostle Babatunde Joel Oyidi – the seer who warned MKO Abiola not to vie for presidency, and predicted former President Umaru Yar'Adua's death six days after swearing-in, has said thatPresident Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will be killed in office by his aide-de-camp (ADC) if urgent measures are not taken now to forestall it.
Apostle Oyidi said that some of the President's men are Boko Haram plants who may later arrange the bombing of the Presidential Villa thus causing the death of not only President Jonathan but also hundreds of innocent citizens.
In a signed statement titled, 'My vision to the nation', which he made available to Saturday Champion, the cleric said that certain powerful politicians who failed in the last general elections have fiercely employed themselves in recruiting revolutionary forces to destablise the federation, adding that because of this landestine moves by people in high places the Judgment Day will certainly come upon some members of the political class before the end of this year.
His words: "My revelation to this nation is about the gross insecurity in the land today. God says my people are afraid; they no longer can move freely in their own land, their voices are not heard even in matters that concern them. But the cries of my people have reached my dwelling place.
"The Lord God Almighty has revealed that President Jonathan has surrounded himself with enemies in form of friends. He must, therefore be careful of his aides. Once more the President must check and cross-check all those who hang around him because there is a leakage within the ranks.
"There is going to be an attempt to kill the President and if he is not careful and very close to God now he will be killed by those who work for him".
Prophet Oyidi said that the attacks by Boko Haram Islamic group are orchestrated by politicians who think it is their unalienable right to occupy certain positions of authority in the land.
"Boko Haram is within the government itself; it is orchestrated by the politicians who think they must occupy certain positions of authority in the land by all means. When they failed to get what they wanted they have now resorted to heating up the system. Of course, there is no smoke without fire. It is a shame that all these man-made disasters can be happening to people in this country. It is, therefore, a woeful shame on government", he said.
Oyidi who is the General-Overseer of Elyon International All Christian Praying Ministry said that President Jonathan is not the political messiah of this country but only a forerunner to the president who would salvage the nation by initiating workable policies and programmes to the glory of God.
The cleric, however, advised President Jonathan to stand firm and focus and not be afraid, adding that he should not allow the so-called god-fathers of the present system to sway him.
He also urged Dr. Jonathan to always abide by the injunctions of God Most High in whatever he does while ruling country, noting that whatever the President does now, he would be held accountable for it.
He said, "It is written that whatever a man sows that he will surely reap. Though, President Jonathan is a product of the corrupt system that produced him, yet God wants to use him to fulfill his purpose for this nation. His job in this country is only to prepare the way for the right president.

When Should I Throw Away My Makeup?
Mascara: 3 Months
THE REASON When mascara dries out or gets clumpy, it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria, says optometrist Jennifer Giermek of N.Y.C.'s Naked Eye Optical. Discard immediately if you get an eye infection. "Reusing the brush can cause recurrences
Face Cream 2 Years
THE REASON "If the cream is in a jar, your fingers can introduce bacteria, so toss it after six to nine months, 12 months if it's in a pump," says Wilson. "Be sure to keep alpha-hydroxy creams tightly sealed or they can get more concentrated and cause irritation."
Fragrance: 2 Years
THE REASON "Each spritz lets more air into the bottle," says Roger Spain of Belle-Aire Fragrance. "This causes oxidation and slightly changes the scent—but it's still fine to use.
Nail Polish: 1 Year
THE REASON With proper storage, expect polish to last up to one year. "Start examining it after nine months for color fading or separation," says cosmetic chemist Ni'Kita Wilson. "That's when you can tell that it won't go on as smoothly."

How can I get rid of stubborn cellulite?
A friend asked if I could help her with something to help her get rid of her cellulite...and this is what I came up with...
Cellulite: it happens to the best of us.
Beverly Hills dermatologist Harold Lancer says lifestyle and dietary changes should actually be the first areas to address. He recommends structured forms of stretching and toning like Pilates and yoga. "Topical treatments containing niacin and caffeine are also effective when used consistently," says Dr. Lancer.
I recommended Cellulite Rx LipoTherm Contour Cream ($50; idermedbody.com), which contains both ingredients.

Bow Wow Dead
Gist flooding social Media sites have it that rapper Bow Wow is dead.
He commited suicide by drinking a bottle of valium.
Meanwhilew I have been thinking if this is really true, what must have made him do such cos I know things are going well for him.
He recently released a singles with title that can't be used in headlines! Bow Wow, formerly Lil, has debuted his latest video for "S*** On My Mind," in which he wonders why people hate him. Are they professional haters? Do they judge past actions? Do they dislike his drug-free lifestyle?
The world may never know.
In the lyrics, he laments the struggles of having a "baby mama." Mr. Wow announced early this month that he is a new father via an open letter on his website. Now, he details the problems he has with the mother of his daughter. "I'm going out of my mind, I'm losin' my head / Baby mama got me stressin', callin' askin' for bread / See I'm just lookin' for peace, but I'm s*** out of luck / Attitude is kinda crazy and I don't give a f***."
The rapper recently decided to abandon his Twitter account. He hasn't deleted the verified username, but since deciding to leave, his Tweets have been links to articles and videos instead of personal musings or replies to fans.
Will keep u updated if this is true or false.

Thoughts For The Day!
The garbage truck theory
How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood?
Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day?
However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly one can get back their focus on what's important.
David J. Pollay explains his story in this way....Sixteen years ago, I learned this lesson. I learned it in the back of a New York City taxi cab. Here's what happened. I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car's back end by just inches! The driver of the other car, the guy who almost caused a big accident, whipped his head around and he started yelling bad words at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean...he was friendly. So, I said, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!' And this is when my taxi driver told me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.''Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it. And if you let them, they'll dump it on you. When someone wants to dump on you, don't take it personally. You just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. You'll be happy you did.'I started thinking, how often do I let Garbage Trucks run right over me?And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to other people: at work, at home, on the streets? It was that day I said, 'I'm not going to do it anymore.' Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. Love the people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don't. Believe that everything happens for a reason. Never let the garbage truck run over . Choose to have a great day......

Flying cars: Alternative to traffic jams, flight delays?
t's a bird! It's a plane! It's a car with wings? A robotic duck? No. In the words of its inventors, it is a "road-able aircraft." It is a flying car. And maybe it is coming to a garage, street, highway, airstrip, or sky near you, writes WOLE SHADARE.
IF you have ever dreamed of owning a flying car, then you may well be able to buy and fly one.
Imagine being able to get in your car and soar over the traffic jam on the highway, and then touch down at your destination in a fraction of the time it normally takes to drive. It sounds very inviting and tantalising. Call it a flying car or a road-able aircraft, but either way, it's an idea that has been floating around.
A flying car retailing for $227,000 could be on roads in a matter of months – and customers are already lining up to be the first to get their hands on one, its maker claims.
It is yet to be confirmed if Nigerians are among the thousands of people who have made order for the flying machine considering the taste of affluent Nigerians.
While the United States and other advanced countries have put systems in place to ensure its safety, the idea is entirely alien in this part of the continent.
For cities like Lagos and Abuja that are becoming congested with traffic, leading to loss of hours on the road, the idea looks very much interesting.
The poor road infrastructure and planning has been a major source of concern. This has consequently resulted into perpetual road works and repairs.
Lagos has a higher density of population; hence, there is no sophistication of the town housing and road planning.
In addition, there are many others who share the same road with the car vehicle users. Other factors that have been of key concern are accidents, which often occur on roads.
For short distant travellers, it can serve as alternative as it tends to serve dual purposes of flying over huge traffic jams. Buyers will have value for their money.
It could help to eliminate constant delays that have become regular feature at the nation's airports, occasioned by scarcity and hike in the price of JET A1.
One question that agitates the minds of many is, who regulates the operations of flying cars should Nigerian money-bags decide to go for this equipment?
It is simple. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) would need to regulate to prevent congestion and collision in the airspace, while the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is expected to regulate its operation on the ground.
The implication is that the operator will have two licences to be able to operate the machine in Nigeria.
Just last week, the Terrafugia Transition passed a significant milestone when it was cleared for takeoff by the United States National Highway Safety Administration.
It has taken Terrafugia founder, Carl Dietrich just five years to realise his dream, with some media outlets reporting that the Transition could now be on U.S. roads by the end of next year.
Last year, the project was headed for trouble after authorities demanded design changes costing Terrafugia somewhere in the order of $18 million.
The next stage for Terrafugia is global domination, with the first stop outside the U.S. being Europe.
The firm disclosed that more than 20 Britons have already expressed interest in owning the new flying machine.
The two-seat plane is made of carbon-fiber and aimed primarily at the U.S.'s 600-strong "fly-in" communities. It can lift off from almost any long straight road and, once in the air, has a top speed of 115 mph.
On landing, its wings fold up in 15 seconds, with power then routed to the rear wheels, giving it a top land speed of 62 mph and size dimensions equivalent to a large sedan.
The Transition will be available to those with a light-aircraft license and requires as little as 20 hours of training to fly.

His line is inspired by California and actually named after an intersection in Venice where Lutz lives. And he didn't do it all on his own—he teamed up with Dylan George founder Danny Guez to create the label.

Dealing With Dandruff.
This is something that have been bothering me cos am also a victim..Gives me headache whenever i loosen my hair and i see dandruffs everywhere like they now own my body with me...I had to meet a hair specialist and this is what he told me..thought i should share it with u.
How To Deal With Dandruff
You should think of excessive dandruff as a warning sign as far as the health of the hair is concerned.
Dandruff is made up of bits of dead skin that peel away from the scalp as a result of the effects of metabolism. Normally, dandruff, in its early stages of growth, is not visible to the naked eye. It becomes visible only after enlarging into pieces of dead skin (what we normally call "dandruff") as a result of the propagation of bacteria and/or problems with seborrhoeic scalp conditions.
Persons suffering from prolonged dandruff are said to have a dandruff ailment. This type of ailment, accompanied by itchiness, can lead to eczema if it worsens. Suppressing the propagation of bacteria is one means of dealing with fatty dandruff. This is because bacteria is one of the causes of this condition.
If possible, try to shampoo on a daily basis to prevent bacterial propagation. One effective means of dealing with dandruff is to disinfect the scalp area with commercially available medicated shampoos specifically designed for dandruff removal. However, daily shampooing can lead to eczema for persons who suffer from dry scalps. Shampooing once every three days may be ideal for such persons.
Persons who suffer from persistent, hard-to-cure dandruff are urged to consult a skin specialist.
Hope it works for you also.

Ten Reason Why Sex Should Wait
- Sex is a powerful force that can destroy if not used properly. Like atomic power, sex is the most powerful creative force given to man. When atomic power is used correctly it can create boundless energy; when it is used in the wrong way it destroys life. Sex is the same kind of powerful force. Sex is a gift from God to give us the greatest pleasure, to help in creating a deep companionship with one's spouse and for procreation of the next generation. But if you play with this powerful force outside the bounds of marriage, it destroys you and those close to you.
- Sexual activity for young people arrests their psychological, social and academic development. Studies show that when young people engage in premarital sex, their academic performance declines and their social relationships with family and friends deteriorate. This is because adolescents are too immature to deal with the explosive sex drive and it tends to dominate their life.

Another Regrets Of Premarital Sex
One of the most painful, and yet overlooked aspects of sex outside marriage is emotional scars. What might start as fun, exciting and romantic can end in a lifetime of painful memories. The silent torment which can last a life time is illustrated in the following true story which was recently submitted to Aim for Success.
I was married at the age of 31. My husband, a physician, was 27. He gave me the gift of his virginity the night we were married. My gift to him was herpes. Soon after our honeymoon he broke out with sores on his penis. He suspected it was herpes and later had it confirmed. Sadly, he broke the news to me. I was devastated. |

Consequences Of Not Eating Healthy
Overview
A diet that leans more heavily toward unhealthy foods will carry too many calories from fat and sugar and not enough beneficial nutrients. While you can live for a long time on such a diet, it will have short-term and long-term effects on your health. Weight problems, dental problems and chronic diseases become more likely when you choose energy-dense foods, or those with higher calories than nutrition, over nutrient-dense foods, or those with fewer calories and more vitamins, minerals and other beneficial nutrients.Nutritional Disorders
A diet that has too much fat or sugar crowds out the other nutrients that your body needs for metabolism. The USDA reports that most people don't eat enough fruits, vegetables and whole grains, and many do not consume enough dairy products, creating nutritional deficits. Some consequences include birth defects in pregnant women, as well as anemia from lack of iron or B-vitamins. Inadequate calcium can create a loss of bone density that results in fractures or tooth loss.Obesity
Food calories that exceed your activity needs are stored as fat in the body and cause weight gain. Frequently eating caloric fast foods such as tacos and cheeseburgers, for instance, instead of healthy fruits and vegetables, can tip the scales. If you don't remove those pounds, you might become obese, acquiring a body mass index of 30 or more. Overweight and obesity are major risk factors for serious chronic diseases such as cancer and also carry their own consequences. Among these, the Office of the Surgeon General says, are a greater incidence of arthritis, reproductive complications, gall bladder disease, incontinence and depression.Heart Disease
Obesity and nutritional imbalances are also primary risk factors for cardiovascular disease, which might result in heart attacks, strokes and premature death. Diets low in fruits, vegetables and whole grains are likely to be higher in saturated fat and cholesterol, which can clog your arteries. This condition, called atherosclerosis, might cause blood clots and progress to symptoms of coronary heart disease, which is the leading cause of death in America. The American Heart Association notes that eating healthy foods reduces this risk.Type 2 Diabetes
Both an unhealthy diet and excess weight greatly increase your chances of developing type 2 diabetes, an incurable disease related to blood sugar imbalance. A varied diet regulates how your body processes the sugar in foods, while not eating healthy foods can trigger sharp spikes in your blood sugars that disrupt the body's normal response to insulin. The American Diabetes Association notes that if diabetes medication does not control blood sugar levels, complications can include nerve damage and kidney diseaseRead more: http://www.livestrong.com/article/401744-consequences-of-not-eating-healthy-food/#ixzz1TRz8pMrb

POSITIVE THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
You can’t change the whole world, and you certainly can’t change other people, but you do have the ability to change yourself. You can have a positive impact in your job, the people with whom you work, and the entire organization…the choice is up to you. –
2. Once we hold a belief, it tends to stick with us for the rest of our lives, unless we challenge it. –
4. Positive anything is better than negative nothing.
5. What you see is what you get! --

7. The real act of discovery consists not in finding new lands but seeing with new eyes
8. The sense of wonder—that is our sixth sense. –
9. Hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible.
10. We often spend so much time coping with problems along our path that we only have a dim or even inaccurate view of what’s really important to us. –
11. Pessimists calculate the odds Optimists believe they can overcome them.
Researchers find that optimists live 19 percent longer than pessimists.
13. Just keep swimming. –
14. I keep my mind focused on peace, harmony, health, love and abundance. Then, I can’t be distracted by doubt, anxiety, or fear. –
15. No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.
16. The greater part of our happiness or misery depends on our disposition and not our circumstances.
17. Everything can be taken from us but one thing—the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given circumsta
18. A cynical young person is almost the saddest sight to see because it means that he or she has gone from knowing nothing to believing in nothing.
–
19. Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. –

23. There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.
24. It must be borne in mind that the tragedy of life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. It lies in having no goal to reach. It is not a calamity to die with dreams unfulfilled, but it is a calamity not to dream. It is not a disgrace not to reach the stars, but it is a disgrace not to have any stars to reach. Not failure, but low aim, is the real sin. –
25. We must be the change we wish to see in the world.
26. The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds; and the pessimist fears this is true. –

Will This Ever Stop?
A Malaysian national and her Nigerian boyfriend were arrested for allegedly faking her own kidnap to get a ransom of US$500,000 (N76,124,988) from her father on Saturday.
Selangor state Criminal Investigation Department chief, SAC Mohd Adnan Abdullah told local media on Tuesday that the 23-year-old woman and her 20-year-old Nigerian boyfriend were picked up at the lobby of a hotel in Penang on the same day.
The woman’s father took a call from a man claiming that her daughter and her boyfriend were abducted and demanded a ransom for their release at about 3pm, Mohd Adnan told reporters.
He said the woman’s father, who was then in Kuching, lodged a police report shortly after.
The couple, who studied at a local private university, planned to use the ransom money for their daily expenses and education,” he told reporters

God/Allah WhicheverOone Should Rescue Somalian Kids
This is what is happening in drought-ravaged Somalia. Mothers have to walk for days to reach aid camps in Kenya and Ethiopia. This baby's mother had to walk for seven days without food or water to reach an aid camp and by the time she got there, this is what her 7-month old son had turned into, almost starving to death. Doctors aren't even sure little Mihag Farah, who weighs same as a newborn, will make it.
Mihag is just one of 800, 000 children that could die in Somalia in the worst drought in decades, because of the ongoing civil war in the country. The country's prolonged drought became a famine because neither the government nor many aid agencies can operate in areas controlled by Al Qaeda-linked militants.

Soldiers Kill 23 Civilians At Random After Bomb Blast In Maiduguri
The Nigerian authorities must immediately put a stop to unlawful killings by security forces, Amnesty International said today after at least 23 people were killed by police following a bomb blast on Saturday in the north-eastern city of Maiduguri. The bomb, allegedly set off by the Islamist group Boko Haram, went off in the Budum market in central Maiduguri and injured three soldiers. According to reports received by Amnesty International, the Nigerian Joint Military Task Force (JTF) responded by shooting and killing a number of people, apparently at random, before burning down the market.
One wing of Boko Haram has reportedly disowned the bomb blast, saying it may have been carried out by a splinter group

Tragedy In Enugu State

Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State
No fewer than seven persons including little children were Thursday feared dead, while over 50 buildings housing police officers as well as officers of the Nigeria Prisons Service in Enugu were razed down when a tanker carrying fuel caught fire and exploded at a roundabout near the popular Ogbete Market.
No fewer than seven persons including little children were Thursday feared dead, while over 50 buildings housing police officers as well as officers of the Nigeria Prisons Service in Enugu were razed down when a tanker carrying fuel caught fire and exploded at a roundabout near the popular Ogbete Market.
Several police officers and prison wardens were also rendered homeless while properties worth several millions of naira including 10 cars, motorcycles, most of them belonging to either traders at the market or officers at the Central Police Station and the Nigeria Prisons were completely destroyed.
But for the timely intervention of men of the Enugu Fire Service as well as officers and men of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Nigeria Securities and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), among other security operatives, the entire Central Police Station and the Ogbete main market would have been completely razed down.
Though, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the state, Steven Ekpei , said only three persons died in the inferno
According to the eyewitness account, the driver of the Petroleum Tanker belonging to Shorelink Oil and Gas Services Port-Harcourt with registration number XL 968 JJJ may have battled effortlessly to control the heavy vehicle at the round about before it fell down before exploding at about 7.07 am.
It was also gathered that the leaked fuel from the tanker flowed into the Enugu Central Police Station Barracks and some parts of Ogbete Main Market through a gutter located at Prison barracks.
Most of the people who lost their lives to the fire died while attempting to escape from the windows of their apartments. One of the
deceased was said to have just completed his Higher National Diploma at one of the polytechnics in Enugu.
deceased was said to have just completed his Higher National Diploma at one of the polytechnics in Enugu.
He reportedly died while attempting to rescue his grandmother from their apartment. The grandmother was later consumed by the fire.
May the souls of the deceased rest in peace.
Rochas Defends His Appointments.
The Governor spoke to Encomium magazine through his Senior Special Assistant on media, Chinedu Offor.
His appointments are in the best interest of the state. Everybody he has appointed has something special and beneficial to attract to the state. The governor saves about N150million for Imo state per day as he is not going to be earning any salary for four years. All the automobiles in his fleets are his personal vehicles and his family is not being taken care of by tax payers money unlike his predecessors.
It is only ignorant people that are criticizing the governor. Take the SA to the governor on Lagos State (Nkiru Sylvanus) she is a very popular Nollywood actress who will use her brand face to attract business to the state. It doesn't matter if Okorocha appoints 1, 000 aides, his ultimate goal is to move the state forward.
Governor Okorocha appointed 70 people as Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants.

Tuface quits Smoking Maurijuana
He had an exclusive interview with Yes! Weekly Magazine, and there he opened up on a lot of issues, one of which was his smoking habit. This is what he said about it:
"I have never tried cocaine or heroine but I've done marijuana before. But I never took it to go on stage. It was just for relaxation purpose. Eventually I knew marijuana wasn't for me, so I stopped. Because it makes me feel like I am in another world. I stopped using it a couple of years ago. It wasn't difficult stopping. It was just craziness that introduced me to marijuana. You know how youth energy used to push one into things like that. In those days I used to listen to songs like 'Rolling down the street smoking'. All those songs can influence, if you want to be influenced. It is not for me to advise musicians not to write or sing about drugs."
I sincerely hope this is true...next should be learning how to wear RAIN COAT cos afterall he did an advert for one of the products....
If he can stop smoking marijuana, so can everybody else... You all know yourselves....YOU

Nigerians Languish in UK Prisons.
16,800 Nigerians are currently in UK Jails alone..How pls how do i ascertain if most of my friends in the UK are not in jail..How many Nigerians do we have in UK that a whopping 16,000 are in Jail and I believe this is not true cos there loads of them who were not counted.
Is it not better to come home and hussle like me, make the money here and then travel abroad for holiday's than to be jailed abroad? Guys, what do u make of this high figures, that of USA could be double..
We have 1million Nigerians in the UK. And out of every 12 there will always be a judas! Nigerians abroad prefare the fast track, hence the propensity to be jailed.
FROM the Senate came a revelation yesterday that not less than 16,400 Nigerians are languishing in United Kingdom (UK) prisons. Disclosing this during the debate on A Bill for An Act to Repatriate Nigerian Prisoners Serving Jail Terms in Commonwealth Countries, Senator Benedict Ayade told the Senate that it took the UK government about 1.6 million pounds to feed the Nigerian prisoners per day and this got the senate president sad.
WAIT A MINUTE!!!
Where did the senators get those figures from? Another ploy to share the money. The various committee and the consultants who came up with that idea must chop. How come we do not have consultants that will protect the public funds? (evaluate and monitor how contracts are awarded, shared and stolen)
Smart Senators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The news that Mila Kunis, star of Black Swan, recently treated herself to a facial that cost $7,000. No, that isn't a typo. Seven thousand dollars for a facial. We can only hope she's worth it.
So where does the science come in? Well, according to the creator of said facial, Scott-Vincent Borba of BORBA skincare (nothing says luxury skincare like screaming capitalisation), this particular treatment contains rubies and diamonds, which provide antioxidants and a "lustrous sheen". Much like going for a gentle jog, then, only with more bling. FS fondly imagines the industrial-grade diamond-crushing machines at Borba's salon, grinding away priceless gems into a topically applied paste, while the merry little workers trudge back from the mine with the latest finds, singing their "Heigh-Ho" song.
Borba's website is well worth a browse, particularly for his musings on the philosophy of beauty. "What I particularly love about beauty," he says, "is that it sits right in the middle between science and fashion, drawing inspiration and content from both ... For me, that's the most intriguing and exciting thing in the world." Poor chap; clearly he needs to get away from the coalface a bit more.
Should Ms Kunis be seeking more ways to flush her money down the drain, perhaps she should head to Florida, where the spa at the Hotel Victor offers an Evian bath for a mere £5,000. This, apparently, consists of 350 gallons of Evian sprinkled with rose petals. Now, FS was never good at maths, so bear with us. At Ocado you can buy a six-pack of 1.5 litre bottles - so nine litres in total - for £3.66. You want 1,324 litres, the equivalent of 350 US gallons. So to do this treatment at home you just need 147 packs (and a splash more, but let's not be picky). So [sound of rusty FS brain cranking] for a mere £538.02 and, let's say, an extra £5 for the roses ... bargain! You've saved yourself an absolute fortune. And you'll enjoy a thoroughly, er, wet bath into the bargain.
Ocado, alas, does not stock rubies and diamonds, so can't help you if you want to release your inner facialist at home. However Forbes.com does have a very handy list of the most expensive spa treatments. Not so much how to spend it, as how to flush it away.
Na waahooooo This is real money to flush down the drain.. No be me talk am ooo na FS.

KARENFIED & VINAFIED
As BIG BROTHER AMPLIFIED comes to an end on sunday...people are already curious and eager to know who walks away with the cash....
With Karen Igho and Vina representing Nigeria...there's nothing more we can do than wish them all the best, and hope they become good friends for life and stop arguing about who is the original "Black Barbie"
Though not a fan of Karen, I seriously think she's real.. so go ahead and vote for them.
Go girls you rock!!!

INSPIRATION.
You live,You love,
You laugh,
You learn.
You keep your head up,
Even when you want to crash,
Keep walkin' even when there's nowhere left to go,
You love who you love; no matter what.
No Regrets;
Because at some time
That was what you wanted
Act like a Little Kid;
Life stays amusing,
Do stupid things
It's all a;
RISK
an EDGE,
a reason to
KEEP LIVING.
You laugh,
You learn.
You keep your head up,
Even when you want to crash,
Keep walkin' even when there's nowhere left to go,
You love who you love; no matter what.

They are your words!!!! No one else own them.
People aren't always going to like what you say, write, post
Hell, they may not like anything that you have to put out into the world.
Or maybe, they just don't understand what you're trying to get at,
or there's the chance they do, but are playing the blind eye to
what you're writing or saying that they just don't seem to fully grasp it.
They're your words that you write,
They're your thoughts that you think,
The pictures you hold in your memory;
The songs that you hold close to your heart,
The memories that leave you with lessons,
The scars that leave you with a story,
It's just your life you're living, not the person in the next room, or around the globe.
It's your life your holding the pen to, it's your life your living.
Hell, they may not like anything that you have to put out into the world.

Thoughts
me
Hey Ya,
I'm Kanyinulia,
I am always writing whether it be on
paper
phone
skin
I am inspired by basically everything
but my friends, my family who I miss, so much
and the insanity in my head makes me to do it the most.
Let me stay happy
Don't push me to the edge
I was just there and I really don't
Want to go back
Let me keep the smile
Hide the tears
Calm my fears
Smile. Laugh. Be Happy.
Be Alive for the first time, in a long time
Please just keep the blackness away
from my mind and the happyness here to stay...
PLEASE LET ME STAY HAPPY
Don't push me to the edge
I was just there and I really don't
Want to go back
Let me keep the smile
Hide the tears
Calm my fears
Smile. Laugh. Be Happy.
Be Alive for the first time, in a long time
Please just keep the blackness away
from my mind and the happyness here to stay...
PLEASE LET ME STAY HAPPY
I hope you enjoy.

FILE - In this Dec. 3, 2010 file photo, a journalist interviews Edgar 'El Ponchis' …MIACATLAN, Mexico (AP) — A Mexican judge on Tuesday sentenced a teenage U.S. citizen to three years in prison for homicide, kidnapping and drug and weapons possession. Authorities say the teen confessed to killing four people whose beheaded bodies were found suspended from a bridge.
Edgar Jimenez Lugo, known as 'El Ponchis,' was given the maximum sentenced allowed for a minor in the central state of Morelos, said state prosecutor Jose Manuel Serrano Falmerol. Jimenez was tried in a state court because Mexico does not have a justice system to try minors at the federal level.
Mexican prosecutors said Jimenez was 14 years old.
Authorities say the teenager confessed to working for the South Pacific drug cartel, led by reputed drug lord Hector Beltran Leyva.
When he was handed over to federal prosecutors, the boy calmly said in front of cameras that he participated in four killings while drugged and under threat.

Care!!!
When you feel sad and betrayed
Who can you count on every single day
When you feel lost and alone
Who will be there for you in every way
When you've made mistakes and bad decisions
Who can you count on to tell you that you're wrong
When you feel you cant go on
who will be there with a feel better song
Look into your heart and you will find
that the person you can trust is not far away
Look deep into yourself, don't give up
For if you do its yourself you'll betray
When your looking for answers
To all your questions and dreams
There is one person you can count on
Its impossible, i know it seems.
But take a few moments to look deeper inside
Look into your heart and there you will see.
You will be surprised when you find out
That you've been looking at GOD......
Who can you count on every single day
When you feel lost and alone
Who will be there for you in every way
When you've made mistakes and bad decisions
Who can you count on to tell you that you're wrong
When you feel you cant go on

Hello Friend!!!
There are gifts of many treasures
For both the young and old,
From the tiniest little trinkets
To great boxes filled with gold
But, put them all together
And they could not stand in lieu,
Of the greatest gift of all
The gift of knowing you.
When your times are filled with
troubles
Sadness, grief, or even doubt,
When all those things you planned on
Just aren't turning out.
Just turn and look behind you
From the place at which you stand,
And look for me through the
shadows.
And reach out for my hand.
I will lift from you your burden
And cry for you your tears,
Bear the pain of all your sorrows
Though it may be for a thousand
years.
For in the end I would be happy
To have helped you start anew,
It's a small price to pay
For the gift of knowing you.
Whenever you need me I'll be there
I want you to know that I truly care.
When life knocks you down on your
knees,
I'll be at your side just as fast as you
please.
A shoulder to cry on when times are
rough,
An encouraging word when you don't
feel good enough.
An ear to listen to your hopes and your
dreams,
A voice of moderation when you've
gone to extremes.
Someone to share the good and the
bad,
I will be the worlds best friend you
ever had!
You're never alone, I'm always near,
When you're troubled, down or blue.
All you have to do is call me,
I'm always here for you.
It doesn't matter where I'm at,
It doesn't matter when.
When you need someone to talk to,
I'm here to be your friend.
If you need someone to hold your hand
or a hug to say I care.
If you need a shoulder to cry on,
for you I will be there.
So never think you are a burden,
when the weight gets to be to much.
You might find if look hard enough,
a good friend could be the right medicine.
You're never alone, I'm always here,
through the good times and the bad.
I'm always here to be your friend,
I don't like to see you sad. TO ALL
MY GOOD,BEST AND SPECIAL

Life Is A Gift
Today before you say an unkind word--Think of someone who cant speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food--Think of someone who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife--Think about someone who is crying out to GOD for a companion.
Today before you complain about life--Think about someone who went early to heaven.
Before whinning about the distance you drive---Think about the same person who walks the same distance with feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job--Think about the unemployed, the disabled and those who wish they had your job.
And when deprssing thoughts seem to get you down-- Put a smile on your face and think you're still alive and around.
